Through the explanations of Nicolas Besset, Chamber of Agriculture of the Rhône, each video returns to the lessons learned from the study of soils by appellation of Beaujolais. We learn about the geological characteristics of each appellation area, as well as other aspects that make these terroirs so special: slope, altitude, exposure, etc.
More than 300 soils variants have been identified from north to south of the Beaujolais wine region. This diversity makes it the most geologically rich and complex vineyard in France!
